Este fin de semana he visto por fin The Blood Brothers de la Saw y Takeshi va a hacer el mejor papel. En la original narra toda la historia y es el único que se da cuenta de lo que pasa. El papel de alelado lo va a hacer Andy Lau que es la vícitima de un triángulo amoroso.

Hello again. It has been a long time since my last post. I'm now in DunHuang, on the famous Silk Road, preparing for production of "Forbidden Kingdom" (previously known as the "J&J Project"). Production starts on May 2, it's April 30 today. For everyone in China I would like to wish you a very happy May holiday. Please be safe while travelling during this holiday season. Of course, we don't have a holiday here since we're working on finalizing the last few pieces during pre-production.
These past few days I've spent considerable time memorizing my English dialogue. A lesson for all young people learning English -- if you study English well in school you will not experience the difficulties I am going through right now. It is a challenging prospect for me to memorize vocabulary in my 40's. However, since the difficulty lies in front of me, I have to deal with it. It's a challenge, but I will put forth my best effort!

三年前，《J&J》的制片人和我开始聊这部电影，一转眼三年过去了，终于快进入摄制组了。前几天，我们在一起吃饭，他很兴奋，因为大家的梦想，时 隔了三年他的努力终于快实现了，但是我想他也有一点点惊讶。这惊讶是三年前我们如此兴奋的去创造一个东西文化碰撞的故事，如此的充满激情，但是这次吃饭我 第一句话是“我会令你失望”，电影已经变成我的工作了，因为我的心已经完全去到慈善了。我看他的表情，导演的表情，编剧的表情，三个人先是惊讶，慢慢的听 我讲完我慈善的故事，他们都很欣慰也很开心。就这么一餐饭，剧本没谈成，三个人都变成了我的义工。很感谢，身在大西洋彼岸另外一边电影的同仁，愿意支持这 样一个属于大家的慈善事业，一人一块钱。这种善良的人性是非常值得我永生难忘和尊敬的。我会尽我的努力把《J&J》拍好，导演、编剧也不要担心， 我仍然是很专业的演员。

Three years ago, the producer of the J&J project approached me with this film. Three years passed by quickly now the production start date is just around the corner. A few days ago, I had dinner with the producer. He was very excited because our collective dream is becoming real. After three years of hard work, it’s finally happening. But I think he’s also a little surprised. Because when we sat down three years to talk creatively about the story, we were full of passion of this project. However, when I sat down with him this time, the first thing I said was, “I will let you know because filmmaking is only my job now. My heart already belongs to charity.” I saw his expression; I saw the expression on the director’s face; and also the expression on the writer’s face. They were all very surprised. But as I explained the foundation to them, they all became very supportive and happy for what I was doing. So just during this one dinner I gained three more volunteers. I’m very thankful and also happy that there are now supporters from both sides of the Pacific involved with the foundation. And I should say that the producer, director and scriptwriter have nothing to worry about. I will put forth my best effort into J&J as I am an extremely professional actor.

我拍完了《投名状》。包尾的想不到是金城武，还要在北京再拍。大部分电影都是我包尾，这次他包尾，恭喜。不过很好啊，他马上要拍《赤壁大战》了，也是在北 京。十年没合作，再在一起，感觉他比十年前成熟多了，稳重多了，而且对角色的那种执着、那种认真、分析，非常值得敬佩，值得学习。希望他在未来的工作中有 更高的成就，一切顺利。

My part on THE WARLORDS is complete. I never thought Takeshi would be the one to wrap this film up in Beijing. Most of the film is complete, just a few more days in the North. On most films, I am the one that wraps up the film, but on this one, that honor belongs to Takeshi. Congratulations!
It’s great. Soon after wrapping on this film, he will join John Woo on his next film in Beijing. For Takeshi and me, it’s been 10 years since we last worked together. This time around, I feel he has matured significantly. He really knows how to attack his role and thinks about his character and the movie from many perspectives. I wish him great success in the future.
